Core Values

FRONTLINE CORE VALUES

C. H. R. I. S. T.

Creative Communication:  This value represents a uniqueness of Frontline.  It is our desire to present the biblical message with excellence, using cutting edge technology, relevance, multi-sensory environments, arts and a sufficient time frame to assemble these elements in order to provide a creative boost to our services.  The acrostic E.P.I.C. or Experiential, Participatory, Image rich, and Community focused, represent categories of worship that are designed to bringworshippers into closer range of their great God.

Scriptural support:
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…” -Ecclesiastes 9:10

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”  -Colossians 3:17

Holistic Worship:  We believe worship is not just a Sunday event.  While worship at church should bring participants into an atmosphere of celebration and reflection, inspiring them to a closer walk with Christ, worship should also extend into daily life.  Our love for Christ should compel us to reverence Him consistently.

Scriptural support:

“Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess his name.”  -Hebrews 13:15

“I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.”  -Psalm 34:1

Relational Authenticity:  Our perception of the church is that we are the family of God.  We work hard at maintaining a relationally warm climate that is attractive to guests and sustains lasting friendships.  Our people, especially leaders, are striving to be real, vulnerable, honest, and approachable.  Perhaps encountering people with this level of Christ-like relational skills will promote the cause of the gospel.

Scriptural support:
“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.”  -Ephesians 5:21

“Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. 9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.”
–1 Peter 3:8, 9

“Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.”  --Hebrews 12:14

Intentional Apprenticing:  At Frontline we are intentional about rising up the next generation of leaders.  This requires a persistent search for those with leadership gifts accompanied by a willingness to learn.  It is expected that each department seek out those we can invest in, encouraging and mentoring them into service to Christ at Frontline or abroad.

Scriptural support:

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."  -Mark 1:17

“Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”  –1 Corinthians 11:1

“For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, 8 nor did we eat anyone's food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. 9 We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow.”  –2 Thessalonians 3:7-9

Spiritual Maturity:  Every program at Frontline is geared to promote the development of faith and fashioning character into Christ-likeness.  Since Christ commanded us to grow, it is essential that we cultivate the fruits of the spirit and hone our spiritual gifts to a razor edge, effectively serving others in the church and local community.

Scriptural support:

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
-2 Peter 3:18

“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
–Ephesians 4:15-16

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”  -Gal 5:22-23

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.”  -1 Peter 4:10

Transforming Love:  A genuine relationship with Jesus characterized by love for others is a premium at Frontline.  People who live the truth they know are radically inclusive and naturally reach out to those in need.  This promotes a “belong before you believe” mindset and fosters attraction to the Christ we serve.  Exhibiting Christ-like love is the most effective     change agent we have in making a lasting difference in the lives of those around us.

Scriptural support:

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
-1 Peter 4:8

“But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”  -1 Peter 3:15

“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.”
–Romans 15:7
