BILL ABRAHAMSON | facilities director
Bill, a native of West Michigan, has been married to his wife, Sandie, for 34 years. Together they have three grown children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law and three grandchildren. Bill loves to spend time with his family, on the water, or in one of his many gardens. After going to school for Business Management and running several successful businesses, Bill felt called to go into full time ministry in 1999. He worked for Youth for Christ and Founded Revolution Ministries. In 2006, Bill began to volunteer at Frontline and joined the staff as Facilities Director in 2011. When asked why he would do that, Bill replies "It is my privilege to be called to serve in this position. I love to use my various skills and experiences to honor God. I love to share the story of my transformed life. It's my heart's desire to share God's amazing redemptive power with those around me."
AMANDA ALCUMBRACK | children's ministry director
Amanda and her husband Eric have been attending Frontline since November of 2011. They have two kids, Christian and Alayna. Together the Alcumbrack family enjoys exploring the great outdoors by hiking, biking and trekking this world God has created. Amanda is a gifted leader and has been in some form of child development either as an aid, teacher or director for the past 9 years. Amanda brings a wealth of experience and energy to the Children's Ministry here at Frontline!
RJ ALICEA | video/ tech director
RJ serves as Frontline’s Programming & Technical Arts Director, primarily working to make sure weekend services help the church achieve its mission. RJ has a passion for Jesus and music. He loves playing guitar and recording. He graduated Cornerstone University, and has experience working in churches and a recording studio. He and his wife Jordan have been married since 2014 and currently live in East Grand Rapids. RJ and Jordan love fly-fishing and hiking during their free time.
BRIAN BLUM | lead pastor
Brian first served at Frontline as the Worship and Arts pastor from 2000-2007 before becoming the lead teaching pastor. Brian and his wife, Kerry have four boys. In addition to being Frontline’s Lead Pastor, Brian enjoys fishing, running, music and spending time outdoors with his family. If not at Frontline, you may find Brian at one of his favorite Biggby coffee locations “studying” for an upcoming weekend service.
LORRI CISCO | family life pastor
Lorri came to Frontline in the fall of 2012 when her family moved to Michigan after living for 5 years in Iowa. Originally from the East side of Michigan, but now living in the Grand Rapids surrounding community, the Cisco family thoroughly enjoys the West Michigan area by taking advantage of the many camping and boating opportunities. Lorri and her husband Brad have been married for 17 years and have 4 kids. Lorri holds a degree from Michigan State University in Communication Arts and is currently seeking ordination within the Wesleyan Church. With over 10 years of experience working within the church, Lorri is passionate about family ministry and developing a lifelong faith in kids.
DAVID DOERNER | teaching and assimilation pastor
David and his wife, Shannon, came to Frontline in March 2017. David graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2014 with a degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration and is currently in seminary finishing up his master’s degree. He loves meeting new people and exploring different cultures and has had opportunities to travel to many different places in Central America, Europe, and the Middle East. David and Shannon love traveling together and spend much of their free time in the outdoors camping, hunting, hiking, and biking!
BRENDON ENDERS | south campus worship arts and nowgen pastor
Brendon joined the Frontline family in August of 2016 and serves as the director of student and worship ministries at the south campus. While originally from Muskegon, he graduated from Kuyper College in Grand Rapids and holds a degree in Pre-Seminary Studies. Brendon is passionate about helping people develop in their God-given gifts and abilities in order to further the Kingdom of God and to serve the church. He also cares deeply about discipleship and helping young people to grow stronger in their relationship with Jesus. Among Brendon’s other passions are sports (particularly soccer and football - Go Blue!), video games, theology, weight lifting, podcasts, indy rock-n-roll, and late night Taco-Bell runs.
JESSE HEINEY | missional pastor
Jesse came to Frontline in the summer of 2016 with a heart for serving and a desire to see the Church be all it was intended to be. He and his wife felt a deep calling to become everyday missionaries and a call to inspire others to become the same. Jesse truly believes that Missions isn’t reserved for a select few. Rather we are all called to GO, regardless of our age or position, and be the love of Jesus to a world in need, be it in our neighborhood, local community, or far away in foreign countries. He has served in ministry for over eighteen years in many different capacities, though primarily as a worship leader. He is currently pursuing his MBA in Church Leadership and has degrees in Advertising and Graphic Design. Jesse, his wife, Loretta, and their children, Hailey, Brennan, and Lydia love spending time together outdoors hiking, biking, sports, camping, or geocaching. He is an unashamed Lions fan, takes Mac tech way too seriously, and chocolate chip cookies are his love language.
JIM ELZERMAN | care pastor
Jim overees the pastoral and benevolence needs of those who consider Frontline their home. Jim has over 18 years of pastoral experience and a master's degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton College. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Michigan and is providing fee-based professional counseling to the Frontline family. When not providing congregational care, Jim enjoys scuba diving, riding bike, reading and especially spending time with his grand children. Jim and his wife Tracie live in Grand Rapids.
BLAKE HICKS | executive pastor
For over 25 years Blake owned and operated three small businesses on the West Side of Grand Rapids. In 2008, Blake felt a call to leave the business world and go into ministry. Upon receiving degrees from both Cornerstone University and Wesley Seminary, Blake has served in both the church and non-profit communities. Blake and his wife Kim have been married for 30 years and have 4 kids along with 2 grandchildren. When not working at Frontline, Blake enjoys competing in triathlons and eating...not necessarily in that order.
JESSICA JOHNS | storehouse director
Jessica and her family have been attending Frontline since 2009. During that time, she has been actively involved in many areas of ministry. She has served on the missions board for many years as well as having been involved with Benevolence Team, Women's Ministry, and Leadership Team. She is excited about the opportunities that the Resource Center provides to reach the community's physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
RENEE KOERT | south campus office administrator
Renee Koert and her husband, Tom, have been attending Frontline since 2004 and have four grown children and blessed to have two beautiful granddaughters. Besides enjoying family gatherings, they enjoy golf, biking and cooking. Renee has been an Administrative Assistant for over 30 years and has also been a certified group fitness instructor for over 30 years. But her true passion is praying for others, serving others & the Lord and sharing redemption of salvation.
KRIS LOCKER | north campus office administrator
Kris is excited to be of assistance to the pastors, staff, and church community here at Frontline. Kris began attending Frontline in 2013, and has been committed to Frontline's mission of Reaching, Connecting and Sending ever since. Kris has volunteered in both Children and Student ministries here at Frontline. Kris loves spending time with her friends and family. Shes enjoys camping, reading, and traveling. Kris looks forward to continuing to grow her faith with the Frontline Family.
BRIANNE NOLL | marriage and family therapist
Brianne Noll is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and received her Master’s Degree from Northern Illinois University. She provides a variety of pre-marital, marital, and family counseling services in the main office area of Frontline Community Church. Brianne is passionate about working with people to build strong, healthy marriages, as well as positive relationships with entire families, friends, and the local community. COREY POST | worship & arts pastor
Corey is excited to be a part of what God is doing at Frontline. Corey graduated from Grace Bible College with a Music degree in Worship Arts. He is passionate about worship leadership and helping people move forward in their walk with Christ. He is married to his beautiful wife, Sara, and they have two crazy children Addilyn and Levi. Corey loves any and all sports, anything that involves being outside, hanging out with family and friends, and cheeseburgers.
DIANE TOTH | facilities staff
Diane moved here from Fenton, Michigan where she lived for over 30 years. She graduated from Baker & Mott College. She has volunteered many places. Diane has two adult children, a son and daughter. and currently is raising her granddaughter. Diane moved to Grand Rapids after her father passed, and inherited his house, which she loves. Being new to the city, Diane needed a new church to belong too. She found Frontline, volunteered right away, and eventually became employed in the Facility department. She says she knows this is what she was destined to do. "The Bible says, "Do all things in love", I keep the building clean and maintained for my spiritual family."
BRAD VANDERSON | nowgen pastor
Brad and his wife Sam have been at Frontline since 2010. After volunteering at Frontline for many years, Brad could not deny the unmistakable call God had placed on his life to pursue full-time ministry. Brad loves people and is passionate about seeing students taking ownership of their faith. Nothing brings Brad more joy than seeing students grow and develop a faith that will be with them forever. Brad has a degree from Grand Valley State University in Psychology and is currently pursuing ordination within the Wesleyan Church. In addition to Frontline, Brad and Sam have been foster parents to several kids over the past couple years and love spending time with their crazy-cool daughter, Emery. Brad loves photography, graphic design, and being ridiculously sarcastic all the time.
