REACHING Journey 2

This intermediate discipleship journey is designed to help you go deeper in understanding how you relate to God through sacred pathways. This is a great journey for you if you already have basic spiritual rhythms and practices established in your life such as prayer, reading Scripture, giving, etc. If you do not have spiritual rhythms yet established, we recommend Reaching Journey 1. To sign up for this eight-week discipleship journey and receive help along the way, fill out the form below. Your cohort leader will connect with you shortly!

2 | DISCOVER HOW I RELATE TO GOD

God doesn’t create everyone the same, each of us is unique in our gifts, backgrounds, and even how we relate to God. There is beauty in this diversity and as a result, different kinds of experiences make us feel closer to God. Sacred pathways help us identify the ways we most naturally connect with God. There are a total of nine pathways. Most people gravitate toward one or two of them. We encourage you to take the assessment below and then explore more deeply how you relate to God.

3 | EXPLORE MY SACRED PATHWAY

Once you've determined how you relate to God, we invite you to go deeper in understanding your specific pathway. Reading Sacred Pathways by Gary Thomas is a great way to better understand your pathway and relate to others in Scripture who experienced this same pathway.

4 | PRACTICE MY SACRED PATHWAY

Once you have a deep understanding of how you best relate to God, it is time to put it into practice. Use this guide to begin practicing your sacred pathway by identifying your pathway, and practicing each of the 3-4 things it recommends you do.

5 | REFLECT

At the conclusion of this journey, it is time to look back at where you've been and reflect on how God has changed you through it. The fifth and final step in this journey is to prayerfully reflect on how you have grown and been transformed in these past couple months, while also considering what your next season of discipleship holds.
