AMANDA ALCUMBRACK | children's ministry pastor

Amanda and her husband Eric have been attending Frontline since November of 2011. They have two kids, Christian and Alayna. Together the Alcumbrack family enjoys exploring the great outdoors by hiking, biking and trekking this world God has created. Amanda is a gifted leader and has been in some form of child development either as an aid, teacher or director since 2008. Amanda brings a wealth of experience and energy to the Children's Ministry here at Frontline!

CAROLANN BLOOM | worship pastor

Carolann has been on staff at Frontline since January 2021. Her heart is to help others experience and build relationship with the Lord through song, and through His Word. She is passionate about welcoming the Presence of God each Sunday that the Frontline family gathers! Carolann enjoys hanging out at home, cooking with her husband, and she is always down for a good coffee (especially an iced Café Miel) and conversation!

COURTNEY BROWN | pastoral resident

Courtney graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020 and is pursuing ordination in the Wesleyan Church. Courtney joined the team in June of 2022 as a pastoral resident and has a passion for bringing people and groups together as the body of Christ. She is excited to serve on the leadership team and be a part of the Frontline Community. Courtney along with her husband Jacob, love playing board games, spending time with family and friends around a campfire or at the beach and are always ready for a new adventure!

ERIN CRUISE | children’s resident

Erin grew up in Iowa and moved to Indiana to attend Indiana Wesleyan University. She graduated from IWU with a degree in Children’s Ministry in 2022 and is currently working towards a Masters in Practical Theology. Erin began her residency at Frontline in June 2023. She is an extreme extrovert and loves leading groups of people, especially children. Erin was called at the age of 9 to lead children and this residency is her first step to formally pursuing that lifelong call. Erin loves to do anything and everything outside: hiking, running, soccer, sand volleyball, and pickle ball.

DAVID DOERNER | lead pastor

David and Shannon came to Frontline in 2017 and since then have expanded their family with their two sons, Judah and Jordan. David graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2014 with a degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration and also earned his Master of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary in 2018. David loves preaching and teaching and does so regularly at Frontline and the other churches in the Zero Collective. He loves the Chicago Bears, a good burger, camping with his family, deer hunting, and a combination of all of those would be one step short of Heaven for him. He loves to work, joke, play, challenge, and inspire people to be who God has created them to be!

KRISTIN GUMINSKI | children’s coordinator

Kristin has been a member here at Frontline for the last 8 years and has been volunteering with Frontline kids over the last year. In her new role, she’s most excited about connecting with the church community and building relationships through Christ. She lives in Belmont with her husband Tony and two boys, Emmett and Elliott. In her free time, she enjoys sitting by the pool, hanging out with family and friends, and visiting Disney!

JAROD HARDER | connections resident

Jarod graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2022 and is currently working on his Masters in Practical Theology. Originally from Oklahoma, he moved to West Michigan in June 2023 to join the Frontline staff. He has a passion for seeing people grow in their relationship with Christ, come to a deeper understanding of Scripture, and connect with the church community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors including disc golf, fishing, camping and time with friends.

BLAKE HICKS | executive pastor

For over 25 years Blake owned and operated three small businesses on the West Side of Grand Rapids. In 2008, Blake felt a call to leave the business world and go into ministry. Upon receiving degrees from both Cornerstone University and Wesley Seminary, Blake has served in both the church and non-profit communities. Blake and his wife Kim have been married for 35 years and have 4 kids along with 7 grandchildren. When not working at Frontline, Blake enjoys competing in triathlons and eating...not necessarily in that order.

DAN JOHNSON | facilities director

Dan and his wife Amy have attended Frontline since 2012. They have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. He retired in June of 2022 from a job he held for 21 years. He loves fishing and doing any type of remodeling projects. He joined the Frontline team as Facilities director in July of 2022. He is looking forward to helping build up Frontline’s commitment to the needs of the community and is excited to see what God has in store in this next chapter of his life.

CODY MAHAFFY | connections pastor

Cody graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2018 and him and his wife Mariah have been a part of 12Stone’s Residency program in Atlanta, Georgia for the past two years. Cody has a passion to see the lost come to new life in Christ and to watch their journey of falling more and more in love with Jesus. He loves spending time with Mariah, sports, game nights, and anything outdoors!

MARIAH MAHAFFY | student pastor

Mariah graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2019 and she and her husband Cody have been apart of the 12Stone Residency Program in Atlanta, Georgia for the past 2 years. She loves to partner with students and their parents as they walk with Jesus learning more about who they are and who He is! Mariah is passionate about students loving the church and creating an environment where students feel loved and known. She loves coffee, game nights, cooking, and hanging out with friends!

BRIANNE NOLL | marriage and family therapist

Brianne Noll is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. She leads the counseling ministry and team of therapists at Frontline and also provides a variety of pre-marital, marital, individual, and family counseling services at the church. Brianne is passionate about working with people to grow spiritually, relationally, and mentally in the midst of complex issues, as well as to assist couples in building strong, healthy, lifelong marriages. She welcomes you to contact her about these fee-based professional counseling services if you have any questions or if you are interested in scheduling an initial appointment.

JENEETH PATHULA | missions pastor

Jeneeth was born and raised in South India. In 2014, he felt God calling him to serve Him in full-time ministry, so he packed his bags and moved to Chicago. He graduated from Moody Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity.

Jeneeth is excited to be a part of the Great Commission here at Frontline and to walk alongside those who need Christ. He’s passionate about learning and understanding other cultures and seeing how God is transforming their communities. One of the perks of learning about different cultures is getting to explore different foods. Jeneeth and his wife Noelle love to do ministry together, explore the great outdoors, and try anything new.

GABBY SCHULTZ | administrative assistant

Gabby started attending Frontline with her family in January of 2021. After being baptized in August of 2023, she decided to leave her job and pursue what the Lord was calling her into- a community in Christ. Gabby is often asked if she was named Gabby because she talks a lot, the answer is… YES! She has a passion for people and is excited to connect more with the church community. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, family and friends, eating good food, watching a good sunset (or sunrise), game nights and anything Christmas related!

ALEX SNYDER | middle school director

Alex joined the Frontline staff in 2021 as a student ministry intern, then returned to become the middle school director! He loves the community at Frontline, and he is excited to see what God has in store for the students he works with. Alex is also studying part-time at GRCC. When he’s not playing 9 square at NowGen, you can find him writing, reading, and doing all sorts of DIY projects.

ROBERT VANDER PLOEG  | tech director

Robert joined the team in summer of 2018 with a passion to utilize technology to reach people for Christ. Originally from Caledonia, Robert holds a degree in Worship Arts from Cornerstone University. He is passionate about helping people draw closer to Christ, and empowering them to use their gifts and talents for the glory of God. Robert and his wife Melanie are both enthusiasts for windsurfing, cooking hearty food, and visiting authentic taquerias.

GINA WEARE | communications director

Gina joined the Frontline team in July 2022. She and her husband, Phil, have 3 boys. Gina graduated from Central Michigan University (fire up Chips!) with a marketing degree in 2008. She is excited to bring her love of functional graphic design to Frontline and help spread the Good News that God loves us. Gina enjoys all things related to Christmas, 90's Christian music, and cool weather.

HEIDI WHITE | student resident

Heidi joined the Frontline team in June 2023 after graduating from Cornerstone University with a degree in Ministry. Initially feeling led to student ministry as a high schooler, Heidi is passionate about discipleship, coming alongside families, and cultivating a healthy culture built on Christ. She is excited for the opportunities that her residency holds and how God will use her at Frontline. Originally from Park City, Utah, Heidi is married to her high school sweetheart, Jared. Heidi enjoys quilting, baking delicious gluten free desserts, and going to the Zoo with her husband.

INEKE WILKINSON | essentials store director

Ineke started attending Frontline in 2010. Throughout 2020 God brought Ineke on a journey which led to stepping out in faith into church ministry in the form of the Essentials Store Director. Ineke is a graduate of Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and a licensed counselor through the state of Michigan. She is married to Joel and they have 2 children; Tilly and Alistair. They also have a crazy dog named Boomer. Ineke enjoys spending time with family and friends in the outdoors (camping, hiking, beach days, and adventuring) or playing a competitive board/card game and eating good food.
