What is NTS Camp?
Never the Same Camp is exactly what the name implies - a week long trip where middle school and high school students’ lives are completely changed.
When students step away from the noise, pressure, and distractions of daily life, they encounter God in a real and personal way. Every year at NTS Camp, kids hear from God, experience the Holy Spirit, and give their lives to Christ.
It’s a 5-day trip that starts with a quick drive to Indiana Wesleyan University. It includes worship and teaching, games, team competitions, and fellowship that helps kids connect with one another, their leaders, and ultimately with Christ.
What does a leader do?
Leaders at NTS help students have fun, stay safe, and encounter Jesus. This can look like leading a small group, bringing up the energy at a team competition, or praying over a student who’s given their life to Christ - but it’s always with the support and encouragement of the team of experienced and trained leaders you’d be serving with.
What’s expected of leaders?
The goal of NTS is for students to disconnect from daily life so that they can encounter Jesus - and that starts with you. That probably means making big sacrifices: taking time off of work, sleeping less and praying more than you’re used to, and missing quality time with family and friends for a few days. But God will use that sacrifice you make to change the lives of each students you lead - and He’ll use it to change your life at the same time.
The total time commitment starts when the group meets after church on June 21st to get on the road by 2pm and ends once the group is back safely around 8pm on June 25th.
